Bauble Card Tutorial
1. Prepare the Card Front by cutting white linen cardstock to 4¾" × 6¾" and stamp your sentiment centred at the bottom. If the stamped image has any gaps, use an Artliner to neatly fill them in.
2. Create the 3D Paper Baubles by die-cutting six circles from each patterned paper you’re using. Fold all circles in half.
3. For each bauble, glue five folded circles together along their folded edges to form a fan shape. Glue both outer edges of the fan to the sixth, flat, unfolded circle, completing the 3D bauble shape. Repeat this process for each bauble design.
4. Arrange the Baubles on the Card by placing the completed baubles on your linen card panel and adjusting until you’re happy with the layout. Once positioned, make a tiny pen dot at the top of each bauble to mark where the string will attach.
5. Then, draw the Hanging Strings. Start by removing the baubles. From each pen dot, draw a straight line upward to the top edge of the cardstock using your Artliner. Add a small hand-drawn bow near the base of each line to complete the hanging effect.
6. Attach the Baubles by adding adhesive to the back of each bauble and sticking them in place at the end of each drawn string.
7. Finally, assemble the Card by adhering your decorated linen card panel onto your card blank to finish your design
