Christmas Dream Box Tutorial
1. Create the Box Base by cutting a piece of white card to 9" × 9" and score at 3" on all four sides.
2. Then create the Box Lid by cutting another piece of white card to 8" × 8" and score at 2.5" on all four sides.
3. Trim and Shape Both Pieces by snipping away the corner squares on both the base and lid, then reinforce all score lines by folding them.
4. Decorate the Inside Base by adding one of your patterned paper panels to the centre of the box base. Glue the box base together, then attach the remaining patterned paper pieces to the inside walls. Your base is now complete.
5. Cut the Window in the Box Lid using a nesting die and your die-cutting machine, cut a square aperture from the centre of the lid.
6. Create the Acetate Window by applying red liner tape around the back of the frame, then attach your acetate sheet to form a clear window.
7. Build the Shaker Element by adding foam-on-a-roll around the window on top of the acetate. Pour in your chosen shaker elements. Carefully remove the foam backing and secure a piece of patterned paper over the top to seal it, then add a layer of card to hide the workings.
8. Assemble and Decorate the Lid. Adhere patterned paper to the outer sides of the lid, then glue the lid together.
9. Stamp your sentiment, mount it onto pink card, and attach it to the box front using foam pads. Die-cut three snowflakes and adhere them as decorative accents.
