Wrap your sweet treats and small gifts in a fun and creative way with this handmade favour gift wrap idea. This project combines simple scoring with decorative details to create a unique wrap that feels just as special as the gift inside. Perfect for parties, celebrations, or thoughtful handmade surprises.

For this one we’ve made we’ve used the Tales of Wonderland collection but this design can be customised with your favourite papers, colours, and embellishments to suit any theme or occasion.

What you will need:

How to make the favour wrap

Cut a piece of white card to 11¼" x 4" and score along the long edge at 1½", 6", and 6¾".

Fold along all the score lines and burnish well to create the base.

From a sheet of 12" x 12" patterned paper, cut two pieces measuring 3⅞" x 1⅜", four pieces measuring 3⅞" x 4⅜", and two pieces measuring 3⅞" x ⅝".

Use a blending brush to lightly ink the edges of each patterned paper piece with a soft blue ink.

Cut a length of ribbon approximately 5" long and adhere it across the outside of the top flap. Secure the ribbon ends on the inside and cover them neatly with a patterned paper panel.

Adhere all the patterned paper pieces to the card base to create a clean mat and layered effect.

Cut a piece of white card and a piece of black card to 2" x 2".

Stamp your chosen sentiment onto the white piece and layer it onto the black card.

Decorate the front and inside using ephemera, topper elements, or stamped and die-cut pieces, attaching them with foam pads for dimension.

Tie a bow from the ribbon and attach it to the ribbon on the top flap.

Add a hook and loop dot to the inside of the flap to keep it securely closed.

Secure sweet treats or small gifts inside using hot glue or red liner tape.
