Dribble bib and dummy saver

Crafter's Companion – 21/03/20

We’ve been loving sharing all of our baby projects with you and today, we’ve got a pair that are so simple to recreate! Every new parent needs a good stash of dribble bibs and dummy savers, and there’s nothing quite like having a homemade touch in the nursery.

These two step-by-steps don’t require too many materials and each is only four steps long, so they’re quick and simple. You could make a whole set for an expecting parent in co-ordinating colours and patterns!

You will need:

  • Template download
  • One fat quarter
  • Colour corresponding cotton thread
  • Pins or clips
  • Scissors
  • Absorbent low shrinkage wadding
  • 4 x snap buttons

Cutting instructions:

  • Cut two pieces of fabric using the dribble bib pattern
  • Cut one piece of wadding using the dribble bib pattern

Note: use a 0.5″ seam allowance unless otherwise stated. The pattern is drawn to be cut on the fold.
