Please note: Create-a-Card dies are cut & emboss dies, so they must be passed through the machine with a cutting combination, and immediately back through with an additional embossing mat (removing the cutting shim) where the machine allows for this (see ‘embossing combinations’ section below).

For very intricate dies (including many of the create-a-card die range) you may require additional shims to apply the correct pressure. Please refer to the machine manufacturer’s advice regarding best practice.

In some machines, multiple passes through the machine may be required for intricate dies, which may need turning on the cutting platform between passes.
