UK Warehouse Transition (February 2026)
Late last year, we completed our transition to a new US shipping partner, allowing us to ship from multiple locations across the United States for our US customers. As part of this wider change, we also relocated our UK warehouse to a smaller site and have been fulfilling orders from there.
Over the past few months, our teams have been working hard behind the scenes to complete this transition as smoothly as possible. During this time, some stock has been stored temporarily off-site, and while warehouse moves are always complex, we’ve experienced a few unexpected challenges along the way. Unfortunately, this has meant we haven’t always been able to provide the timely delivery experience we strive for.
We want you to know that we see, hear, and understand the concerns many of you have shared with our team. In response, we’ve made the decision to accelerate the launch of our international shipping partner here in the UK to significantly improve the efficiency and speed of the shipping service you receive from us. This will involve another UK-based warehouse move (we promise, still within the UK!) alongside a comprehensive systems upgrade, all designed to create a more reliable and positive shipping experience going forward.
This transition begins today. During this period, you may notice a short delay while stock is fully counted and moved to our new location. As a result, all orders for in-stock items placed from 8am GMT on Wednesday 4th February are expected to ship within 7–10 business days. This may also impact a minimal number of orders placed from 23rd January, and we do apologise for that. We kindly ask that you allow this timeframe before contacting our customer service team to check on an order’s status.
If you have already been in touch with us and/or are currently waiting for all or part of an existing order placed before 22nd January, it will leave our current warehouse as quickly as possible.
We’re incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding during what has been a challenging period for us. Your support truly means so much to our team, and we’re fully committed to returning to the smooth, joyful, and creative experience you deserve.

Throughout 2025 your patience, support, and understanding have meant the world to our team. We know it hasn’t always been easy, and we truly appreciate you sticking with us. As we’ve shared, this has been a big transition year for us. From stock gaps to operational hurdles, navigating the changes has been challenging and we want to acknowledge that openly.
We want to close out the year with some good news! The team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes and we’ve made real progress we’re excited to share with you. Our three US warehouse locations are running smoothly, and we’re incredibly pleased with our shipping partnership that’s allowing us to bring you the crafting products you love even faster.
We know how important consistent supply is, especially when it comes to the essentials. We’re really pleased to let you know that we’ve made major inroads toward resolving our core stock issues for 2026, which includes a steady pipeline for some of your most-requested and needed essential products like cardstock, Gemini, adhesives, and more.
While we’ve been working hard fixing the foundations, we’ve also been planning the fun stuff! We’ve got some fantastic new launches coming in 2026 and we cannot wait to share them with you!

We can finally share more exciting details on our warehouse changes! It’s all systems go here at Crafter’s Companion in the coming weeks to enable our US customers to shop tariff free once again, as well as get the stock from our UK warehouse to our new US ones. This brings a few urgent updates and changes we need to make everyone aware of.
As of 5pm UK / 12pm ET / 9am PT today, Friday 22nd August, we will begin making the updates on our site that you’ll see below. This means our site may be temporarily unavailable to browse and shop, and we appreciate your patience while we work as quickly as possible to get everything ready for you. .
Now to the exciting changes…
US Customers
We’ve carefully curated a large selection of our current products and will be moving stock of these products to our US warehouse. This includes all of the core crafting products we know you love as well as some of the latest collections we’ve launched since the tariffs were implemented that have been difficult for you to shop due to cost. Plus, going forward all new product launches will be available to shop in full completely tariff-free.
We are so excited to announce that as of 5pm UK / 12pm ET / 9am PT, Friday 22nd August we’ll be switching our US website over to this new selection and every product you see available to buy on the US website will be tariff-free.
We are also thrilled to confirm we will have multiple warehouse locations across the US, and we are in the process of moving this stock over to our new US warehouse locations. This move will happen in stages between now and the end of September.
While the stock moves are happening we’ll have a slightly limited range available to shop on our site, so that we can ensure accurate stock counts throughout this process. From September onwards we’ll be bringing you new product launches which you will be able to shop tariff-free as you used to before the tariffs were implemented. From early October we’ll have the full range available for you to shop tariff-free.
We’ve got a large amount of stock to move and with changes to our warehouse location for US customers we also have changes to shipping. The great news is we are pleased to let you know that as of 5pm UK / 12pm ET / 9am PT Friday 22nd August we will be reducing the threshold for free shipping in the US. All orders over $75 will have free shipping for US customers.
From 5pm UK / 12pm ET / 9am PT Friday 22nd August there will be a temporary delay on shipping times for US customers for any orders placed from that point onwards. Any items you order from 5pm UK / 12pm ET / 9am PT Friday 22nd August will begin shipping from 12th September. Please allow us up to a week to get your existing orders sent, as we’ll have a slight delay to getting these dispatched as we complete the set up of our US warehouse operations. We still anticipate that you will have an initial delivery time of 2-5 days from dispatch depending on your delivery location.
UK & EU Customers
Our entire team is working hard to make these warehouse changes happen globally as efficiently and quickly as possible. To enable that, all orders placed from 5pm UK / 12pm ET / 9am PT Friday 22nd August will begin shipping 12th September onwards. For all orders placed after 12th September shipping will resume as normal.
Customers outside UK, US & EU
We’re working hard behind the scenes to transition your accounts to our UK website and we want to ensure we’ve made the process as smooth as possible for you. Here’s what you can expect from us:
- Monday 1st September we will be starting the process of moving your US account over to the UK, so you'll be able to log in from our UK site.
- You will receive an email from our website, asking you to reset your password for your registered account. These emails will start landing in your inbox on Monday 1st September, so please allow time for them to arrive. If you haven’t received a reset email by Wednesday 3rd September please reach out to our team.
- Your loyalty points from your previous account will be transferred over to your new account. Points may not appear the same day you reset/activate your account, so please rest assured they will be transferred over as soon as they can be.
Once you’ve reset your password you can begin shopping with us immediately! Don’t forget: to ensure we can get our warehouse move completed and all stock transitioned in a timely manner, all orders placed will begin shipping 12th September onwards.

A Massive Thank You to Our US Customers
To our wonderful US customers — your support and patience over the past few months have meant the world to us as we navigated the complexities of evolving tariffs. We’re thrilled to announce that we are adding a US warehouse to the Crafter’s Companion family!
What This Means for You
US customers: Our goal is to complete the setup of our US warehouse within the next few weeks, with full operations beginning by the end of September. From 28th August to 30th September, there will be slight impacts to delivery times as we transition, but rest assured we will confirm exact details over the next two weeks and you can continue shopping on our site. And the most exciting news is that from 29th August you will be able to shop our site tariff-free!
UK customers: this transition will not affect you. We will continue to operate a UK warehouse in Newton Aycliffe.
A Partnership for Growth
This exciting step forward is possible thanks to a new investment from Maven, a company dedicated to supporting North East businesses. Their commitment, along with Sara’s increased investment in the business, will help us grow and develop under her strategic vision.
Leadership Updates
To focus on the company’s long-term vision, Sara will be passing the day-to-day management to Dianne Sharp, our outstanding Managing Director. Dianne has been instrumental in guiding the business since Sara’s return earlier this year, and Sara will continue to work closely with our Senior Leadership Team in an advisory role to shape the company’s future.
You will continue to see Sara on Crafter’s TV, HSN, and Hobbymaker regularly!
